Elementary School Track & Field Championship
at Nipomo High School May 17th, 2025
Join us for the 3rd annual Elementary School Track and Field Championships hosted by Nipomo High School and Kiwanis of Greater Pismo Beach. This annual fundraising event open to all youth in 1st through 6th grade. All proceeds benefit LMUSD PE Programs, providing an exciting opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills, foster school pride, and celebrate athletic achievement in a supportive environment.​​​
Meet Information

Registration: Registration is on-site and begins at 8:00am.

Cost: $5 per athlete and $5 for each spectator (kids under 5 free). Payment by cash. All proceeds go towards the fundraising efforts to support NHS Athletics and LMUSD PE Programs.

Check in: Before entering the track, fill out a waiver form, and receive a BIB for competition.

Waivers: All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. Parents must sign waivers for minors…no exceptions! Waivers will be available on-site. Link to waiver below if you wish to print out and bring it to the meet.

Boys and Girls Divisions: 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th

Awards: Medals overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for boys/girls in each event.
Order Of Events

Schedule of Events: 9:00 am Field Events / 10:00 am Track Events. The Meet will be a ‘rolling’ schedule.

Field Events: Field Events open at 8:15am for warm-ups. Three throws and jump attempts in horizontal jumps.

High Jump (5th/6th only) Height starts at 3’0”

Track Events: Timing between events is solely dependent on the size of heats and flights. For our distance races, some age groups may be combined if race numbers are low.
